Romblon Pipefish 25 April to 3 May 3 2026

Many pipefish of Romblon are fast moving and within their habitat amongst the coral they can be elusive. The first 3 banded however I did photograph in their entire length

The off-white soft coral pipe fish was ready to flee the spotlight but the next two photographs of Brauns pug nose pipefish show 3 distinct features of the flattened nose and the beautiful speckled red overall markings and red luminescent eyes .The last 2 photos show the distinctive patterned collar of the xenia pipe fish.
